Bella, Cindy and I meet Bella’s friend Amy in Koreatown for some Korean BBQ “street food” eating. This is my first experience with the “street food” version of this cuisine. Baek Jeong Korean BBQ (213-384-9678) is ranked in “Yelp’s Top 100 Restaurants in LA list”.

Mission San Juan: The Plaza
My sister-in-law Cindy and I are back on tour in the southland with Laguna Beach being today’s area to explore. Downtown Laguna Beach gets very busy in the summer with many tourists coming to stay and enjoy the sand, surf, shops and dining.
I’d heard about this place for a while but with my sister-in-law Cindy in town I had an excellent reason to start checking places like this off of our list. The Anaheim Packing House was a citrus packing plant back in its day. They have done a fantastic job with the interior to stay nostalgic with the days of yore as well as modernizing elements where they saw fit. Please enjoy your “sniff in”…

My sister-in-law Cindy and I are “sniffing in” on the Old Towne Orange Walking Food Tour (oldtownorangewalkingfoodtours.com). I’ve never done one of these before although Bella and I have wanted to do one for some time. I wonder what the balance will be in regards to being focused on the historical area versus exceptional cuisine. We are meeting at the Starbuck’s inside of the Wells Fargo Bank building.
