We’re in the South Bay again (June 2013) on business and are touring Santa Cruz, Capitola and Sonoma in our spare time.
It’s been eight years since Bella and I’ve visited “the family” in Connecticut. What better reason to make our way back than my father’s recent move back to the East Coast (where he grew up) combined with my cousin Susie’s wedding.
Three and a half years have passed since I wrote “50 Smooth Moves”. Fortunately or unfortunately the world as I’ve seen it has provided me enough ammo to write a sequel to my first piece. The majority of these “candidates” are new but some are modifications of previous candidates from “50 Smooth Moves” with additional analysis included.
Regardless, here are situations I’ve observed or been an unwilling participant in which have left me annoyed, aggravated or downright disgusted. Please bear in mind that I will admit I’ve had a “brain fart” and done a few of these maneuvers over the years but “generally speaking” these are maneuvers that lack logic, consideration or common courtesy or a variation of the three.

We’re 11 days into our condo remodel and move-in day is a mere 13 days away. The stresses of a short sale process, closing and now a remodel have definitely taken their toll on our psyches…and our pocket books. Fortunately a previously scheduled business/pleasure trip has arrived.
We depart John Wayne Airport for our business and pleasure trip to San Jose. Bella has a student competing in a music competition. Upon arrival we pick up our rental car at Dollar Rental. We opt for the “long-legged friendly” late model Chevy Malibu before driving to an Asian plaza in Cupertino.
